CabinCrafts at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg

The past three days at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg were another valuable opportunity for CabinCrafts to connect with the global aircraft cabin interiors industry.

AIX brings together airlines, aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, designers, engineering organizations, and cabin interior specialists from around the world, making it one of the most important events of the year for our industry.

For CabinCrafts, Hamburg is particularly important because it gives us the opportunity to spend time directly with the European manufacturers and engineering organizations we represent, while also meeting with existing airline customers and exploring new opportunities.

This year, it was a pleasure to reconnect with our partners at Stükerjürgen Aerospace Composites GmbH & Co. KG, Rudolf Wulfmeyer Aircraft Interior GmbH & Co. KG, and AviationScouts / Aerotec Group, among others.

These partnerships allow CabinCrafts to offer airlines and MROs several different sourcing paths depending on their requirements: OEM aircraft interior parts, already-developed certified alternate parts, surplus seats and components, and new custom solutions developed through approved EASA Part 21J design and Part 21G production organizations.

Many of our discussions at AIX focused on how airlines can address common cabin interior challenges such as high OEM pricing, long lead times, recurring component failures, and obsolete or difficult-to-source parts.

Our role is to connect operators throughout North and Latin America with specialized European manufacturing and engineering capabilities while providing a single commercial point of contact for their cabin interior requirements.

After three productive days in Hamburg, it was time to head back across the Atlantic and straight into MRO Americas 2026 in Orlando.

We are already looking forward to returning to Hamburg for AIX next year.
